Yes. You will need to pay $470 upon lease signing to cover the filters $120, tenant move-in meeting $250, and portal activation fee $100. Upon Renewal each year you will have a $370 fee. You will not get any of the one-time payment forgiveness if on this plan. It is a much better deal in the long run and provides lots of benefits to staying on the Resident’s Benefit Package.
Yes, we require renter’s insurance for the liability coverage. If you wanted to purchase your own renter’s insurance with no content coverage and only liability that would be OK. I would not recommend this option it would not make sense to not cover your belongings especially since we offer it for only $11 more per month. If you want to get renter’s insurance with higher coverage and go with package 1 that is fine but understand you must have renters insurance at all times. If you get it yourself and do not have it with you at the move-in meeting there will be a $100 fine for non-compliance. If you get renters insurance on your own and you allow it to lapse or go away there is a $100 fine.
